Job Title: Business Intelligence Solutions Architect Worksite: 3332 Partridge Lane, Bldg A, Baton Rouge, LA 70809 Job duties: Design, develop, and implement comprehensive business intelligence (BI) solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and development teams to understand requirements, design scalable architectures, and ensure the successful delivery of advanced BI solutions. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of business processes, data requirements, and reporting needs across the organization. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications for robust BI solutions. Bridge the gap between technical teams and business users effectively. Develop and optimize Financial, Commercial, and Sales & Operations dashboards by analyzing business processes and utilizing advanced BI tools. Transform data into actionable insights to support strategic and operational decision-making. Design end-to-end scalable BI architectures, including data models, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data warehouses, and reporting frameworks. Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the entire BI solution development lifecycle. Establish and enforce data governance and quality standards to ensure consistent and accurate reporting. Perform data profiling, cleansing, and quality assessments to ensure accuracy and reliability of BI solutions. Monitor and optimize the performance of BI solutions, proactively identifying and resolving data-related issues. Regularly evaluate BI systems to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices. Can work remotely one day per week. Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Business Intelligence, or a related field of study plus two (2) years of experience as Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Scientist, or a related occupation. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Business Intelligence, or a related field of study. Employer will accept experience and skills gained in pursuit of professional certifications or university-level degree via coursework, projects, or internships. Skills may be gained concurrently. Experience or coursework in the following: • Power BI, Tableau, or SAP Analytics Cloud for interactive dashboard design and performance tracking; • Designing and implementing ETL or ELT processes using Microsoft SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or SAP Data Services; • Relational databases, including SQL Server or Oracle; and • Non-relational platforms, including MongoDB, or Oracle NoSQL.
