Purpose The Senior Cybersecurity & Azure Administrator is responsible to lead the design, implementation, and management of our organization's cloud infrastructure and security posture. This dual-role position is critical to ensuring both the operational integrity of our Microsoft Azure environment and the protection of our digital assets against evolving cyber threats. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of cloud architecture, enterprise security frameworks, and hands-on technical skills to implement best-in-class security and infrastructure solutions. Job Responsibilities • Lead the development and enforcement of security policies, standards, and procedures. • Conduct advanced threat hunting, risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and incident response. • Oversee compliance initiatives (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA), including audits and control assessments. • Advise management on cybersecurity risks, trends, and strategic initiatives. • Mentor staff and collaborate cross-functionally with IT and DevOps teams. • Maintain/update and test Disaster Recovery Plan. • Design, deploy, and maintain secure and scalable Azure infrastructure solutions. • Manage Azure AD, conditional access policies, identity governance, and multi-factor authentication (MFA). • Optimize cost, performance, and scalability of Azure services (e.g., VMs, VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers, Storage Accounts). • Ensure robust Azure backup, monitoring, and disaster recovery strategies are in place. • Provide architectural guidance for hybrid cloud integration and modernization initiatives. • Strategic security planning & risk management. • Cloud infrastructure design & performance optimization. • Identity and access management (IAM). • Threat detection & incident response. • Cross-functional leadership and collaboration • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Continuous improvement mindset and mentoring ability • Azure Certifications: • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert • Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate • Security Certifications: • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) • CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) • GIAC, OSCP, or equivalent Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field • 7 years of Security administration experience or equivalent training • Proven expertise with Microsoft Azure, including advanced networking, identity, and automation • Demonstrated experience securing cloud-native and hybrid enterprise environments • Deep knowledge of at least one security frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS, MITRE ATT&CK) • Proficiency in PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python for automation and scripting • Strong analytical skills • Systems thinking skills • Effective oral and written communication • Effective customer service skills • Strong time management skills • Teamwork • Travel as necessary Gränges Americas Inc is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
