The Network/Systems Administrator I - Messaging at Computer World Services Corp. is responsible for managing and troubleshooting messaging services in a hybrid environment. Job Description • A successful Messaging and Collaboration Administrator candidate will have • A solid understanding of exchange services management in a hybrid on-prem and cloud environment • Experience with Mail Flow, Disaster Recovery, Managed Availability, Messaging Policies, Compliance, Configuring Reporting & Logging, Mailbox migrations both on prem and cloud, and a deep understanding of SMTP. • The ideal candidate will have • Experience with on-prem and cloud tools to include active directory, azure active directory, Cloud Exchange Admin Center (EAC), Microsoft Entra Identity, MFCMapi, MS Purview, M365 Defender, and PowerShell scripting and remedy ticketing system. • A fair troubleshooting background with the ability to assist with troubleshooting complex problems and issues with guidance from intermediate and senior technicians. Responsibilities Key Tasks and Responsibilities From PWS/SOW • Managing user accounts in AD/Azure AD • Managing Distribution lists and shared mailboxes • Troubleshooting outlook and cloud mailbox issues • Managing mailbox cloud licenses • Working with Tier III and other Tier II support groups • Ability to use Active Directory and Exchange tools for troubleshooting • Using PowerShell cmdlets and scripts to manage Exchange • Microsoft TEAMS support • Working with Microsoft to troubleshoot system issues • Shadowing intermediate technicians to advance knowledge Education Education & Experience • Desired experience: Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Microsoft Entra Identity, Exchange Admin Center, MS 365 Defender, and MS Purview • Account management using Active directory on-prem and AZURE cloud environments • Troubleshooting exchange servers and cloud exchange environments to include mail flow, outlook, mailbox licensing, teams, one drive, and mailbox configuration and compliance • BUEM and Microsoft TEAMS • Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 Job Requirements Certifications • Required: • Security+, or other qualifying IAT II certification. • Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) certification within 90 days • Desired Certifications: • Microsoft MCSA 2012 or newer • Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, AZ-104 • Microsoft 365: Administrator (MS-102) Security Clearance • Required: Applicants must have eligibility to obtain a Secret clearance. • Desired: Active Secret Clearance Other (Travel, Work Environment, DoD 8570 Requirements, Administrative Notes, etc.) • The primary shifts for this position are Sunday - Thursday, 1500 – 2330 and 2200 - 0630 however; this is a 24/7/365 mission, and the ability to support Day, Swing, and Mid operations is required. If a temporary schedule change is required to support operations, you will be provided with as much notice as the situation allows. • Certification requirements are subject to change at the government's direction.
