How you'll make an impact Key Responsibilities • Lead the end-to-end development and deployment of Power BI reports and dashboards. • Work with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. • Design data models that are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business needs. • Develop and maintain complex DAX calculations and measures. • Optimize data sources and queries for performance and scalability. • Manage and mentor a team of Power BI developers and analysts. • Ensure BI best practices are followed regarding data governance, security, and visualization. • Collaborate with data engineers, database administrators, UI/UX designers, and business units to align data strategies. • Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI usage and capabilities. • Stay current with Power BI updates, trends, and best practices. About You Required Skills and Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics. • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI (Power Query, DAX, data modeling). • Proficient in SQL and working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Snowflake, Azure SQL, etc.). • Knowledge of Fabric capabilities and resources • Strong experience in creating data models, measures, and complex visualizations. • Experience leading BI projects and teams, including code review and mentoring. • Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts. • Experience with Power BI Service (workspaces, gateways, security setup). • Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with Azure Data Services (e.g., Data Factory, Synapse Analytics). • Familiarity with other visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik) is a plus. • Microsoft Power BI or Azure/Fabric certifications. • Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies. • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD for Power BI deployments. Soft Skills: • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills. • Analytical mindset and attention to detail. • Excellent verbal and written communication. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
