Windows System Administrator (402678) job at IDR, Inc.. Mckinney, TX. IDR is seeking a Windows Systems Administrator to join one of our top clients in McKinney, TX. This person will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining both physical and virtual server infrastructure, ensuring its availability, security, performance, and reliability. Position Overview: The Systems Administrator will join the Infrastructure team as one of three total Systems Administrators. They run on Microsoft for their systems and workstations and they have over 300 servers; Most are hyperconverged so they have a mix of both physical and virtualized servers. They currently have some VMWare in their environment but they’re phasing that out and moving to Nutanix. Top Skills: • 8+ years of IT Experience supporting windows environments • 5+ years’ experience within windows systems administration (O365 Administration, Active Directory support, MS System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), etc.) • 2+ years’ experience supporting hyperconverged infrastructure environments (Either VMWare or Nutanix) Nice to Have: • Certification in ITIL v3 Foundation or MCSE or similar certification Why IDR? • 25+ Years of Proven Industry Experience in 4 major markets • ClearlyRated's Best of Staffing® Client and Talent Award winner 11 years in a row
