About the Role: An exciting opportunity is available for a Data Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team in delivering scalable, cloud-based data solutions. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for a Senior Data Engineer, Lead, or Architect ready to transition into people management while remaining technically engaged. You’ll be responsible for mentoring a team of four engineers and guiding the development of robust data pipelines using modern Azure technologies like Data Factory and Databricks. What You’ll Be Doing: • Lead and mentor a team of 4 data engineers, offering guidance on technical direction, performance feedback, and career development. • Design and develop scalable, cloud-native data pipelines and workflows using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and other Azure services. • Collaborate with leadership to align engineering initiatives with business objectives. • Oversee architectural decisions and enforce best practices in data engineering and cloud security. • Partner with data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to convert business needs into reliable data solutions. • Conduct code reviews and foster a culture of high-quality, maintainable code. • Stay updated on Azure trends and recommend innovative solutions for the cloud data environment.
