Sr. Power BI Engineer Remote USA 6 – 12 month contract Pay Range: $50.00 - $60.00per hr Job Description: Our client is looking for an experienced and dynamic Power BI Engineer to lead the engineering efforts in migrating from Qlik to Power BI. This is a very technical role for someone with expertise in developing complex BI Reports. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the migration process, ensuring the successful implementation of Power BI across the organization, and optimizing business intelligence capabilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Power BI, data modeling, and the migration of data reporting solutions from Qlik to Power BI. Required Skills: • Expertise in Power BI, QLIK (for query analysis) and Databricks (for source system integration and data transformation. • Python Development experience • Demonstrated experience developing complex Power BI Reports. • Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and data integration tools • Experience with designing data models and implementing ETL processes • Solid understanding of business intelligence concepts, KPIs, and reporting strategies Bonus/Soft Skills: • Must be willing to participate and provide daily updates in standup meetings, and weekly updates to the rest of the organization with email templates. • Familiarity with cloud-based data environments (e.g., Azure, AWS) • Experience with Power BI Service and Power BI embedded solutions • Knowledge of version control and deployment best practices for BI solutions • Certification in Power BI (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) is a plus Welcome to ConsultNet and the family of companies, Tekne, SaltClick, TechBridge, and OmniMedia.
