Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to manage, optimize, and secure enterprise-level databases. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance database solutions while ensuring reliability, scalability, and compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities • Install, configure, and maintain SQL and NoSQL databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra). • Monitor database performance, implement tuning strategies, and troubleshoot issues. • Develop and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies. • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements. • Automate routine DBA tasks and optimize operational efficiency. • Collaborate with development and data engineering teams to support application integration. • Implement database monitoring, logging, and alerting systems. Required Skills & Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. • 10+ years of DBA experience in production environments. • Expertise in SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL administration. • Hands-on experience with NoSQL platforms (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB). • Strong knowledge of backup/recovery, clustering, and replication strategies. • Experience with performance tuning and query optimization. • Familiarity with cloud-hosted databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud SQL). • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
