Location: Dallas, TX Introduction We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tech Lead Architect to lead our application development efforts. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in the design, development, and deployment of applications using Python and MongoDB, with a strong emphasis on leveraging Azure cloud services. This role requires a leader who can mentor a team, architect robust and scalable solutions, and ensure best practices in code quality and cloud-native development. Required Skills & Qualifications • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2 • Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a lead or architect role • Expert-level proficiency in Python and its frameworks (e.g., Flask, Django) • Salesforce development and technical design experience of 4+ years • Extensive experience with MongoDB, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning • Deep expertise in Azure, with hands-on experience in services like Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Functions, Azure App Service, and Azure Storage • Strong knowledge of database design, data modeling, and data-driven application development • Proven experience designing and deploying applications in a cloud-native environment • Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills • Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams Preferred Skills & Qualifications • Experience with DevOps practices and CICD pipelines • Experience conducting regular code reviews and providing constructive feedback • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide expert guidance and solutions Day-to-Day Responsibilities • Lead and mentor a team of developers, guiding them on best practices for Python, MongoDB, and Azure-based development • Design and architect scalable and resilient cloud-native applications on Azure • Write high-quality, maintainable code in Python, focusing on building backend services, APIs, and data processing pipelines • Design, implement, and manage MongoDB databases, optimizing for performance, scalability, and data integrity • Utilize Azure Data Factory (ADF) to build, orchestrate, and manage data pipelines • Implement and manage a variety of Azure services, including Azure Functions, App Services, and Blob Storage • Work with DevOps teams to define and implement CICD pipelines • Conduct regular code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards • Act as a go-to person for complex technical challenges Company Benefits & Culture • Inclusive and diverse work environment • Opportunities for professional growth and development • Collaborative and supportive team culture For immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process with Alex.
