We are looking for a qualified and motivated Lead Systems Administrator to become part of our IT team. In this role, you will oversee our IT systems infrastructure, which includes managing servers, network equipment, and software applications to guarantee security and peak performance. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the management of IT systems infrastructure, including servers, network equipment, and software applications. • Support the maintenance of LANs, WANs, network segments, and internet systems. • Monitor and optimize network performance to ensure high availability. • Administer Azure and AWS Cloud resources, focusing on security and compliance. • Implement and manage policies for mobile device and application management. • Troubleshoot device enrollment and configuration issues. • Provide in-depth support for Windows and MacOS operating systems. • Ensure all systems are updated with the latest security patches and updates. • Assist with Tier II and III IT helpdesk requests, providing on-site and remote support. • Analyze system performance and deliver insightful reports. • Manage backups and contribute to the development of a disaster recovery plan. • Create documentation and visual aids for system configurations and processes. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of seven years’ experience in systems administration and network support. • Hands-on experience with networking, virtualization, and Cisco/Meraki technology. • Proficient in managing Windows and MacOS environments. • Familiar with Azure and AWS cloud best practices. • Experienced in managing Microsoft Intune and Apple Business Manager. • Proficient in Microsoft Defender for endpoint protection. • Skilled in using patch management tools. • Excellent communicator who can bridge gaps between technical and non-technical users. • Able to prioritize effectively amidst changing workloads. Work Location: Employees are required to work at our Washington, D.C. office. We offer a hybrid work schedule with two in-office days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday), along with the first Thursday of each month. Terms of Employment: This is a full-time, exempt position. Compensation: The salary for this position ranges from $95,000 to $115,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
