Job Title: Operations & HR Manager (with Data-Driven Strategy & Performance Informatics Experience) Location: Sacramento, CA IN PERSON Employment Type: Full-time Reports to: Managing Partner / Chief Executive Officer Business Operations Manager with BI Software experience (In Person-Sacramento)Job Summary We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will leverage business intelligence (BI) tools such as DOMO or Microsoft Power BI to analyze performance metrics and lead improvement initiatives across the organization. You will also be responsible for managing and implementing internal training programs using our Learning Management System (LMS), supporting employee onboarding, skills assessment, and talent development. A Lean Six Sigma certification and strong project management skills are essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities As our Business Operations Manager, you will oversee the implementation of BI software and our existing tech stack, ensuring that data-driven insights guide decision-making. You will monitor and improve business performance by developing dashboards, enhancing data visibility for key performance indicators, and providing regular performance reports. This role also involves managing vendor contracts, service agreements, and invoice processing while leading operational efficiency initiatives through Lean Six Sigma practices. You will design and manage company-wide training programs via our LMS, collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs, and track completion and effectiveness. Additionally, you'll lead cross-functional projects to improve workflow, communication, and productivity, while overseeing AI integration and innovation. From exploring opportunities for automation to training staff in data and technology best practices, you'll help foster a culture of continuous improvement. Required Qualifications We seek candidates with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (a master's degree or MBA is preferred) and at least five years of experience in business operations, HR, or office management in a professional services setting. You should have hands-on experience with BI software to track and analyze performance data, as well as familiarity with HR systems and LMS platforms. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proven project management expertise are required, along with a Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher is preferred). Exceptional communication and leadership skills are a must, and experience with Microsoft Office and workflow documentation tools is essential. PMI/PMP certification and experience in law, accounting, consulting, or other professional service firms will be considered a plus.
