GETCHOICE! is looking for a full-time Microsoft Azure, .NET Software Engineer for new development and enhancements to their proprietary Utility Bill Pay Services Software. Overview GETCHOICE! is seeking a full-time Microsoft Azure, .NET Software Engineer to contribute to new development and enhancements of our Utility Bill Pay Services Software in an Azure-based environment. Duties and Responsibilities • Perform SDLC functions associated with the agile development, enhancement, and integration of .NET 8 (ASP.NET Core) software applications in a Microsoft Azure environment. • Collaborate on projects with front-end and database developers, and contribute to front-end development when needed. • Work independently and cooperatively on larger cross-functional projects. • Build integration software with 3rd party systems. • Develop Web APIs and Azure Functions (serverless / FaaS) using .NET 8. • Develop, modify and analyze queries in Azure SQL Database. Qualifications • Minimum 5-7 years of software development experience with C# / .NET (ASP.NET Core; .NET 6–8). • Graduate from an accredited four-year college or university with a major emphasis in computer science. • Demonstrated understanding of projects from the perspective of both client and business. • Experience with building Azure REST APIs, Azure Functions, and working with Azure services (e.g., App Service, Storage, Key Vault, Application Insights). • Commitment to staying current with platform features (.NET 8, C# 12, EF Core 8, serverless patterns) to deliver high-quality, efficient systems. • Strong database fundamentals and industry experience with Microsoft SQL Server/Azure SQL (query tuning, indexing, performance). • Motivated, proactive and shows initiative. • U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S. Benefits & Compensation • 401(k) plan • Healthcare, dental, and vision coverage • Great location in the Galleria area • Paid vacation and holidays Seniority level • Mid-Senior level Employment type • Full-time Job function • Engineering and Information Technology Industries • Oil and Gas #J-18808-Ljbffr
