Job Description Job Description A company in the DFW is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Data Analyst with expertise in SQL, Power BI, SSIS, and Azure Data Factory. This role is responsible for producing and maintaining business-critical KPIs and dashboards to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong data modeling, transformation, and visualization capabilities, along with excellent communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A key aspect of this role involves gathering, interpreting, and refining reporting requirements to ensure insights are aligned with business goals. This is an onsite role at their Plano office. Job Overview • This position will support all the data reporting requests within the company. This requires the individual to support and implement strategic data initiatives that help improve business efficiency and customer experience across the entire organization. The daily and monthly reports that this position generates and maintains will be critical in our decision-making process. • The ideal candidate will have advanced Excel skills, an analytical mindset, great attention to detail, and be comfortable dealing with various technologies. Responsibilities would include: • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports. • Work with databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality. • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain data systems. • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets. • Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems. • Create visually appealing and interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power Bi to effectively communicate complex data insights. • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs. • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities. Experience and skill requirements • 5+ years of Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages, databases (SQL, XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks) • 3+ Years Power Bi Data visualization • 3+ years Sql Server • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SSIS, Power Query etc.) • Strong analytical skillswith the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings. • Bachelor's (Preferred)
