Our client, a rapidly growing IT & Software company based in **Nashville, Tennessee, US**, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role is instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining robust and scalable CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks that support our cutting-edge software development lifecycle. You will play a key part in enhancing operational efficiency, reliability, and security across our cloud-based infrastructure. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible) to automate deployments, configurations, and operational tasks. You will collaborate closely with software engineers, system administrators, and quality assurance teams to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include monitoring system performance, troubleshooting complex issues, implementing security best practices, and optimizing cloud resource utilization for cost-effectiveness. Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Implement and manage containerization solutions using Docker and Kubernetes. Automate system provisioning, configuration management, and operational tasks. Monitor system health, performance, and security, and respond to incidents. Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Implement and enforce security best practices in cloud environments. Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and scalability. Mentor junior DevOps engineers and promote DevOps best practices. Participate in on-call rotation for production support. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or system administration, with a strong focus on automation and cloud technologies. Proficiency with one or more major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Extensive experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and methodologies. Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible). Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration principles. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Experience working in a hybrid work environment is a plus. Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
