Job Title: Lead Java Full Stack Developer (Angular 15) Location: NYC, NY (Onsite Day 1) Type: Contract Note: Only considering candidates currently based in NJ/NYC. Lead experience is mandatory. Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Java Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Java 17+, Angular 15, and distributed system architecture. This role requires hands-on technical leadership, team mentoring, and the ability to design and develop scalable, high-performance applications in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Lead full stack development efforts using Java 17+, Spring Boot, and Angular 15. Architect and implement distributed, fault-tolerant, and scalable systems. Guide and mentor junior developers while driving technical direction and best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business-focused solutions. Conduct code reviews, ensure code quality, and enforce development standards. Troubleshoot and optimize complex applications for performance, scalability, and reliability. Partner with QA teams for end-to-end testing and validation. Required Skills Java 17+ (Concurrency, Lambda, Functional Programming). Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Microservices). Angular 15, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Strong SQL skills with experience in major databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server). Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins). Familiarity with development tools (Eclipse, IntelliJ, JIRA, Confluence). Nice to Have Messaging & workflow tools: JMS, Kafka, Camunda. Experience with cloud-based distributed systems (AWS, Azure, GCP). Local candidates only (NJ/NYC). Lead/Architect-level experience is required.
