Senior Windows Cloud System Administrator Location: Rockville, Maryland (1-2 Day remote capabilities) Clearance Public Trust Seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Senior Windows Cloud System Administrator to join our team in Rockville, MD to begin an exciting and challenging career . Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities: • Senior Windows 2016 / 2012 R2 / Windows 2008 R2 administrator responsible for Cloud AWS/Azure implementation, migration, maintenance and incident resolution: o Creating STIG-compliant resources for new Cloud Projects o Maintaining those resources, e.g. patching and upgrading them o Working with application and system owners on troubleshooting tasks o Developing automation scripts for those platforms o Hands on configuration of services through cloud management consoles, e.g. setting up a VPC/VNet in AWS/Azure, Hands-on configuration of settings for new SaaS/PaaS software: o Responsible for all-level Windows server support for all related issues. • Participate in complete system builds, upgrades, migrations, code deployments and patch management to AWS and/or Azure cloud. Configuration and testing of any new software. • Act as a senior consultant in complex or mission critical client requirements. • Develop, modify, and apply computer modeling and programming applications to analyze and solve mathematical and scientific problems affecting system and program performance. • Participate in all phases of scientific and engineering projects such as research, design, development, testing, modeling, simulating, training, and documentation. Requirements • Previous experience required in applying patches in accordance with government guidelines and DISA STIG findingsBachelor's degree in a computer related field of study and 10 years total experience • 6+ years of relevant experience as a Windows Administrator or Engineer; • 1+ year experience scripting with PowerShell, shell scripting or python; • 1+ year experience with Amazon Web Services Cloud or Microsoft Azure Cloud solutions. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Microsoft MCPS, MCSA, MCSE • Microsoft Certified Professional • Microsoft Azure Infrastructure & Deployment (AZ-100) • Microsoft Azure Architect (AZ-300 or 301) -Must be able to pass and obtain High level Security Public Trust ABBTECH is an EOE/Minorities/Women/Disabled Individuals/Veterans
