Job Description NetImpact Strategies, Inc. is seeking to hire a System Administrator to support a Federal Agency. Job Description NetImpact Strategies, Inc. is seeking to hire a System Administrator to support a Federal Agency. This role is located 100% onsite in Fort Sam Houston, TX. Candidate must be eligible for a Secret Clearance. Key Responsibilities Deploy, sustain, and troubleshoot server operating systems and related infrastructure software and hardware. Administer the day-to-day integrity, security, and availability of infrastructure platforms. Perform daily system backups, monitor performance, analyze capacity, and maintain the security posture of infrastructure systems. Create standard operating procedures, maintenance guides, and knowledge base articles for infrastructure upkeep. Perform server administration duties for government-owned digital signage and video streaming systems, ensuring integrity through patching and hardening. Maintain documentation and provide artifacts as required by local IAM policies, staying updated with new technologies and initiatives by maintaining relationships with digital streaming/signage vendors. Troubleshoot and repair infrastructure supporting digital video streaming systems, ensuring uptime and immediate response to AV system issues. Provide monthly reports of completed tasks and work orders to the government lead, ensuring accountability for property book inventory associated with digital streaming systems. Develop a BOM for each work order, listing item details such as descriptions, part numbers, and costs. Qualifications Required Qualifications and Certifications Four (4) years of progressive experience in required proficiency. Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalency. Candidate must be eligible for a Secret Clearance. IAT II certification (DoD 8570.01-M compliant). (CCNA-Security, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, CySA+ **) CE: Associate (professional preferred) level certificate. Ability to work 100% onsite in Fort Sam Houston, TX. Preferred Qualifications And Certifications Previous Federal Consulting Experience. Additional certifications in systems administration, cloud infrastructure, or related technologies. Experience with advanced monitoring tools and performance analysis. Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices for infrastructure platforms.
