Your Role As a Solution Architect, you will play a key role in driving the growth of Methods by enhancing our technical solutions to meet client demands while ensuring they are robust and commercially viable. You will navigate the entire project lifecycle—from initial pre-sales engagement to final implementation and handover to our dedicated delivery teams. Your Responsibilities • Engage with customers to define their technical strategies and requirements, showcasing Methods' capabilities. • Own and manage the technical solutions that meet customer specifications in collaboration with internal and external parties. • Develop cost models for implementation and ongoing service delivery. • Mitigate risks associated with solution development and implementation. • Contribute to proposal documentation by authoring or reviewing technical aspects. • Present technical and commercial solutions to clients alongside the sales team. • Support contract negotiations with your technical expertise. • Ensure smooth handover of technical solutions to delivery teams. • Enhance Methods' technical offerings by staying current with industry trends and proposing innovative solutions. • Quality assurance of technical solutions proposed by technical architects or engineers. • Design complex solutions that encompass multiple sites and hosted Data Center infrastructures. • Execute presales activities in support of business development and sales initiatives. • Serve as a subject matter expert in designated technologies and mentor team members to boost their skillsets. • Collaborate with the management team to create repeatable processes for best practices in solution delivery. • Provide support to managed services and delivery engineers as the subject matter expert. • Perform other duties as required. Essential Skills • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. • Results-driven with a focus on producing beneficial outcomes. • Strong documentation skills for proposals and technical designs. • Creative problem-solving abilities with strong analytical skills. • SC clearance or willingness to obtain it. • Expert-level Microsoft certifications and relevant subject matter expert certifications. Required Experience • A minimum of 5 years in a customer-facing role supporting Microsoft technology solutions. • Extensive knowledge and experience with a variety of Microsoft technologies, particularly in agreed subject areas. • Proficiency in Azure services, including but not limited to Azure DevOps, Azure App Service, and Azure Kubernetes Service. • Expertise in .NET development and database development and administration. • Proficient in creating technical designs for implementation without guidance. • Thorough understanding of the Microsoft Cloud Platform and IT best practices. • Demonstrated technical leadership and collaboration skills within project teams. • Experience leading workshops focused on technical solutions across multiple technologies. • Commercial acumen to produce proposals and respond to tenders effectively. • A track record of successfully presenting technical solutions to stakeholders.
