We are seeking a Microsoft Power Platform Application Consultant to guide our team and clients through the configuration and implementation of scalable business solutions. This role will focus on designing and enabling the Power Platform environment. It will involve setting up adaptable frameworks that support multiple, evolving use cases. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the complete Power Platform, including but not limited to Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, and they will be skilled in integrating these tools into cohesive business solutions. This role is not an IT support position, but rather a strategic and technical consulting role focused on helping our team configure and sustain responsive, well-configured Power Platform ecosystems. Responsibilities • Advise on the configuration of Power Platform environments for flexibility, scalability, and efficiency • Design and configure Power Apps and Power Automate flows to support diverse business processes • Integrate Power Platform tools with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and external data sources • Collaborate with internal teams to translate business needs into Power Platform use cases and prototypes • Establish best practices for solution design, data architecture, and security within the Power Platform • Provide strategic recommendations on environment setup to ensure long-term adaptability and minimal rework for future pilots • Provide strategic recommendations on how Power Platform fits into broader organizational workflows Qualifications • 1-5+ years of professional experience developing and configuring Microsoft Power Platform solutions • Proficiency in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Microsoft Dataverse • Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and external APIs • Strong understanding of environment management, data flows, and solution lifecycle within the Power Platform • Excellent communication and consultative skills, with the ability to guide non-technical stakeholders through design decisions • Microsoft Power Platform certification preferred but not required Job Type: Contract Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week Work Location: Hybrid remote in Boston, MA 02109
