About Us We’re a primarily remote team of fewer than 25 employees with an ownership base that depends on us for secure, reliable and consistent solutions. Compliance, cybersecurity, and HIPAA readiness are at the core of everything we do because we handle sensitive and protected personal data. We’re looking for a Network administrator/Help Desk employee who can both set the vision and roll up their sleeves to ensure our systems stay secure, scalable, and efficient. What You’ll Do As our Network Administrator/Help Desk, you’ll lead technology strategies and infrastructure for the organization, working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, in addition to being responsible for the day-to-day functions related to managing 25 users. Responsibilities include: • Maintaining IT strategies, security, and infrastructure across the company. • Ensuring HIPAA compliance in systems, access management, and data handling. • Implementing and overseeing security tools (MFA, VPNs, endpoint protection, monitoring). • Leading vendor and SaaS management, including contract reviews and renewals. • Supporting onboarding/offboarding with secure access setup. • Driving IT policies, documentation, and training for staff. • Acting as the primary point of contact for IT support, troubleshooting, and escalations. Must Have • Ability to support our hybrid workforce utilizing VPN’s and conditional access • Strong background in HIPAA compliance and cybersecurity best practices • 3+ years experience with Microsoft 365/Azure/Purview/Identify/Entra • Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on support • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Networking skills: DNS, Active Directory, DHCP, TCP/IP • Experience with: • Backups and disaster recovery • Microsoft Exchange • Email Security • Firewall management, switches and hubs • Domain management – including file servers, domain controllers and print servers • Windows Server 2022 Plus Have · Experience with: o Mimecast o SonicWall o GPO’s within Active Directory o VM and HyperV o Windows 365 and cloud PCs o MS Authenticator o iOS support Why Join Us? • Hybrid office with the ability to work remotely • Small team, big impact: your expertise directly shapes our future. • Mission-driven: your work ensures data security and client trust. • Collaborative culture: flat structure, supportive leadership, and autonomy. Responsibilities • Monitor network resources and perform preventative maintenance • Backup network configurations and test our restore process • IT Support relating to issues with the internal systems and network infrastructure • Document all network standards and procedures Qualifications • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work • Exceptional customer service skills Salary: $90-$120k based on experience
