As we expand our cloud footprint, we are seeking a seasoned Azure Infrastructure Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of robust, secure, and scalable Azure-native infrastructure solutions. Role Overview As a Native Azure Infrastructure Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for architecting and delivering enterprise-grade infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures. This role demands deep expertise in Azure IaaS/PaaS services, infrastructure automation, governance, and performance optimization. • Design and implement Azure-native infrastructure solutions including networking, compute, storage, identity, and security • Lead cloud architecture reviews, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and best practices • Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Bicep, Terraform, or ARM templates • Define and enforce governance policies using Azure Policy, Blueprints, and RBAC • Collaborate with Dev Ops teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure provisioning • Optimize cost, performance, and reliability of Azure workloads • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams • Stay current on Azure innovations and proactively recommend improvements • 8+ years of IT infrastructure experience, with 5+ years focused on Azure • Strong understanding of cloud security principles and implementation (MS Defender, Sentinel, Key Vault, etc.) Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM) • Familiarity with hybrid cloud connectivity (Express Route, VPN Gateway, Azure Arc) • Experience with Azure governance frameworks and cost management tools • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification strongly preferred • Experience with multi-region architecture and disaster recovery planning • Familiarity with container orchestration (AKS) and serverless computing (Azure Functions) • Knowledge of enterprise identity management (Azure AD, Conditional Access, MFA) Seniority level • Seniority level Director Employment type • Employment type Full-time Job function • Job function Finance and Information Technology • Industries IT Services and IT Consulting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Aptimized by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Infrastructure Solutions Architect” roles.
