Job Description We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and development of a cloud-native, scalable platform for one of our premier clients. This role requires deep expertise in Microsoft Azure and a strong understanding of modern enterprise architecture. You will be responsible for modernizing legacy SharePoint features into a unified, role-based web application tailored for audit teams, clients, and knowledge users. Responsibilities: Solution Architecture & Design • Develop a modular, scalable, cloud-native architecture on Microsoft Azure • Replace legacy SharePoint functionality with custom-built, role-based web applications • Deliver a unified experience for various user personas (audit teams, clients, knowledge users) Azure Platform Expertise • Leverage Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure AD (SSO), Azure Front Door, and Azure API Management • Integrate AI features using Azure Cognitive Services and OpenAI (or Hugging Face) • Implement real-time event handling with Azure Event Grid or Service Bus Data & Content Management • Architect structured and unstructured content solutions using PostgreSQL/Cosmos DB and Azure Blob Storage • Enable metadata search via Azure Cognitive Search • Define and execute a strategy for migrating content from legacy SharePoint systems Integration & Interoperability • Build integrations with internal audit tools, client portals, knowledge bases, and external data feeds • Design secure APIs and connectors for seamless data exchange Security & Governance • Implement identity and access control using Azure AD, RBAC, and conditional access • Ensure data protection, auditing, and regulatory compliance for sensitive client/audit data
