The Microsoft 365 Endpoint Engineer will lead the transformation of endpoint management by migrating to automated, cloud-first solutions using Microsoft Intune and Azure Active Directory. As the M365 Endpoint Engineer, you will be a key player in our client's endpoint modernization journey—migrating from traditional imaging and patching to automated, cloud-first solutions using Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and Azure Active Directory (Entra ID). Lead Cloud-Native Endpoint Transformation • Design and deploy Microsoft 365 endpoint management solutions including Intune, Autopilot, Autopatch, and Conditional Access • Modernize legacy SCCM environments by implementing co-management and migrating to cloud-native deployment strategies • Architect zero-touch provisioning workflows that enable seamless device onboarding for remote and hybrid workers • Build automation frameworks using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API to eliminate manual processes Strengthen Enterprise Security Posture • Partner with our Cybersecurity team to implement and maintain endpoint security controls including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Windows Hello for Business, and device compliance policies • Design and enforce Conditional Access policies that protect corporate data while enabling productivity • Manage endpoint lifecycle security including patching automation, vulnerability remediation, and compliance monitoring • Implement Zero Trust security frameworks across all managed endpoints Deliver Exceptional End-User Experiences • Provide expert-level support for Windows 10/11 desktops, laptops, mobile devices (iOS/Android), and peripherals • Deploy and manage applications using modern delivery methods (Intune app deployment, Microsoft Store for Business, Win32 app packaging) • Troubleshoot complex technical issues using remote support tools and advanced diagnostic techniques • Optimize device performance and ensure 99%+ uptime for business-critical endpoints Drive Standards and Innovation • Develop technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base articles for endpoint services • Create group policies, compliance policies, and configuration profiles aligned with industry best practices • Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations for continuous improvement • Mentor junior engineers and share expertise across the IT organization Collaborate Across IT Functions • Work closely with IT leadership to align endpoint strategy with organizational goals and budget priorities • Coordinate with Network, Security, and Infrastructure teams on hybrid cloud architecture initiatives • Lead cross-functional projects from requirements gathering through implementation and post-deployment support • Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Required Qualifications: Education & Experience • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Security, or related field • 5+ years of hands-on experience in endpoint systems engineering, client computing, or desktop administration • Proven track record managing enterprise Windows environments with 1,000+ devices Core Technical Skills • Expert knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting • Strong proficiency with Active Directory, Group Policy, and hybrid identity management • PowerShell scripting for automation, reporting, and configuration management • Strong understanding of M365 services and administration (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams) • Hands-on experience with endpoint management platforms such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM/ConfigMgr, or Ivanti Deployment & Management Expertise • Experience with Windows imaging technologies (MDT, WDS, or modern provisioning methods) • Knowledge of patch management solutions (WSUS, Windows Update for Business, third-party tools) • Familiarity with application packaging, deployment, and software lifecycle management • Understanding of mobile device management (MDM) and BYOD security policies Professional Growth • Opportunity to shape the future direction of endpoint management and user computing strategy • Access to Microsoft training resources, certification reimbursement, and continuous learning opportunities • Mentorship from senior IT leaders and exposure to enterprise-level architecture decisions Work Environment • Collaborative IT team culture that values innovation, knowledge sharing, and work-life balance • On-site Monday through Friday • Modern tools and technologies—you'll work with cutting-edge cloud solutions, not just legacy systems • Meaningful work that directly impacts employee productivity and security across the entire organization Compensation & Benefits • Annual Bonus Program • Low cost medical premiums • Generous Paid Time Off • 401K match plus additional Company Funded Retirement Savings Account (even if you don't contribute to 401K) • Leadership training program • Management that is dedicated to your career success and flexible when life happens • Positive/collaborative work culture Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Professional development assistance • Retirement plan • Vision insurance Application Question(s): • How many years of M365 Administration experience do you have?
