Job Description: We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Work From Home DevOps Engineer to join our team at MetrixIT Solutions. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools needed for our software development projects. This is a full-time position and only open to applicants residing in the USA. Job Responsibilities: • Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve processes and productivity through automation and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. • Design, implement and manage cloud infrastructure using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and ensure high availability of applications. • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards. • Automate deployment, scaling, and management of microservices and containerized applications. • Manage configuration, orchestration, and version control systems. Essential Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role. • Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies. • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Ruby. • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. • Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible. Desired Experience: • 2+ years of relevant work experience in a similar role. • Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack. • Certifications in cloud platforms like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert. • Experience working in Agile development environments. Salary & Benefits: The salary for the position ranges from $98,000 to $170,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
