Your Role: As a vital member of our Platform Engineering team, you will play a key role in overseeing our extensive cloud infrastructure and application suite. This DevOps Engineer position focuses on innovating the way we manage cloud infrastructure and ensure application reliability. Key Responsibilities: • Design and manage containerization solutions using tools like Docker and Kubernetes, with a strong emphasis on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Container Apps (ACA). • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub. • Collaborate with the software development team to create and deploy containerized applications on Azure. • Automate scaling and management of containerized workloads in Azure. • Implement security best practices to safeguard containerized workloads. • Work with Site Reliability Engineers to enhance Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code initiatives. • Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in containerization. • Document all containerization processes and configurations meticulously. • Provide mentorship on microservices architecture and container orchestration. Qualifications for Success: • 3+ years of experience with Azure and over 5 years in cloud-native DevOps roles. • A solid DevOps/SRE mindset with a knack for debugging complex systems and getting to the root of issues. • Experience identifying and automating manual tasks to improve efficiency. • Proficient in scripting or programming (preferably PowerShell or Python). • Strong enthusiasm for automation using tools like Ansible and Terraform. • Expertise in managing container orchestration platforms, especially Kubernetes and Docker. • Deep understanding of deployment strategies for Kubernetes, including ArgoCD and Helm. • Familiarity with other Azure services, such as Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Service Fabric. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines integrated with a Git strategy (GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines, etc.). • Knowledge of Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR API) and Azure Health Data Services (AHDS) is a plus. • Experience working in an agile environment (such as Scrumban) to manage projects. • Exceptional communication skills and a commitment to transparency. • Bonus: Familiarity with CNCF projects such as Dapr, Flux, and KEDA. • A collaborative team player with a low ego. The expected salary for this role is $110,000-$130,000, along with eligibility for a performance-based bonus. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance for qualifying employees.
