About the Job We are expanding our innovative team at Pragmatike and looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to contribute to our internal projects. Location: On-site Cambridge, MA (Eastern Time / UTC -4) Start date: ASAP Languages: English (required) Responsibilities: • Architect, develop, and maintain secure and scalable infrastructure systems. • Take ownership of the Kubernetes-based release lifecycle for various components delivered to customers. • Implement robust versioning strategies, upgrade processes, and rollback mechanisms for distributed Kubernetes deployments. • Automate deployment workflows, ensuring security for cloud-native and on-premise environments. • Establish secure methods for artifact delivery, utilizing OCI-compliant registries and GitOps-driven pipelines. • Collaborate with product engineering to define interfaces between hosted and customer-deployed infrastructure. • Support and strategize cross-cloud infrastructure spanning AWS, GCP, and Azure. Skills & Qualifications: • Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or platform engineering. • Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes, including authoring Helm charts and managing custom controllers. • Proven expertise with AWS, GCP, and Azure, and awareness of their specifics. • Experience in building software distribution models for customer-hosted or hybrid environments. • Proficiency with modern CI/CD tools and pipelines like GitHub Actions or CircleCI. • Strong skills in infrastructure-as-code tools and scripting, including Terraform and Python. • Knowledge of secure image distribution tools is highly advantageous. • Excellent communication skills to collaborate across engineering teams and with customer DevOps teams. Nice to Have: • Experience delivering commercial-grade Kubernetes tooling. • Understanding of multi-tenancy and Kubernetes RBAC practices. • Familiarity with zero-downtime deployment techniques and service mesh technologies. • Expertise in security for cloud-native and Kubernetes environments.
