Location: Stamford, CT Job summary : We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Architect - Technology with 13 to 15 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Azure Databricks Databricks Delta Lake and Databricks Unity Catalog along with a strong background in Property & Casualty Insurance. This role involves designing and implementing advanced data solutions to drive business success. Experience :13to15yrs Technical Skills : Azure Databricks Databricks Unity Catalog Databricks Delta Lake, Cloud Data Integration Migration Certification(s) Required : AZURE DATA ENGINEER ASSOCIATE DATABRICKS CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL DATA ENGINEER Roles & Responsibilities : Lead the design and implementation of scalable data architectures using Azure Databricks Databricks Delta Lake and Databricks Unity Catalog Oversee the integration of data solutions within the Property & Casualty Insurance domain to ensure alignment with business objectives Provide technical expertise and guidance on best practices for data management and analytics Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data solutions Develop and maintain data models data pipelines and data governance frameworks Ensure data quality security and compliance with industry standards and regulations Optimize data processing workflows for performance and efficiency Conduct regular reviews and assessments of data architectures to identify areas for improvement Mentor and support junior team members in their professional development Stay updated with the latest advancements in data technologies and industry trends Drive innovation by exploring new tools and techniques to enhance data capabilities Communicate effectively with stakeholders to present data insights and recommendations Contribute to the overall data strategy and roadmap of the organization Qualifications Possess a deep understanding of Azure Databricks Databricks Delta Lake and Databricks Unity Catalog Demonstrate strong expertise in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Show proficiency in data modeling data integration and data governance Have a solid grasp of data security and compliance requirements Display strong communication and collaboration skills Be capable of mentoring and guiding junior team members Salary and Other Compensation : The annual salary for this position is between $130,000 – $ 145,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
