Hiring: Data Architect – Azure Databricks Location: Plano, TX (Onsite 3 days/week) Position Type: Full-Time (FTE) Visa & Relocation Note: Relocation is acceptable, and we are also open to H1B Transfers for candidates who are comfortable moving their visa to the client’s payroll. We are seeking an experienced Data Architect with strong Azure & Databricks expertise to lead end-to-end data engineering delivery and drive high-impact data architecture initiatives. What You’ll Do • Design, build, and optimize scalable Data Lake / Data Warehouse solutions. • Lead cross-functional collaboration with product, engineering, and business stakeholders. • Build and maintain data pipelines and large-scale distributed data systems. • Drive performance optimization, data quality, and platform reliability. • Manage and guide teams in high-volume cloud data environments (SaaS). • Own capacity planning, environment scaling, and cost optimization. • Work in an Agile delivery model with clarity in execution and long-term architecture vision. Who We’re Looking For • 12+ years of relevant data engineering / architecture experience. • 5+ years leading high-performing technical teams. • Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks (required). Expertise in: • Azure Cloud platform • Medallion architecture, Unity Catalog, Data Governance • PySpark, Python, SQL • Large distributed systems & Data Lakes at scale • Experience orchestrating cloud workloads and improving data pipeline performance. • Ability to collaborate across teams and drive solutions in dynamic environments.
