We are seeking a skilled and proactive Systems Administrator I to support and maintain the IT infrastructure, ensuring high levels of availability, performance, and security. This mid-level position is ideal for a candidate with strong technical knowledge, excellent troubleshooting skills, and experience supporting server environments, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise systems. This position is an off-site role with 100% travel. Responsibilities: • Install, configure, maintain comp sys, servers, & NW equip • Monitor sys performance & troubleshoot SW, HW & NW issues. • Manage user accounts, permissions, & access controls. • Implement & enforce sec protocols, including firewalls, backups, & IDS • Perform regular sys updates, patches, & upgrades to improve functionality & security • Develop & maintain disaster recovery & data backup procedures • Provide tech spt & train end-users, address IT-related problems • Document sys configurations, policies, & maintenance procedures • Collaborate w/vendors & other IT professionals for sys improvements & implementations. Document sys configurations, changes, & SOP • Exp w/virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). • Proficiency in MS Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, & O365 • Familiarity w/cloud svcs (Azure) & hybrid cloud env. • Strong knowledge of NW fundamentals (TCP/IP), DNS, DNCP, VPN) • Exp w/backup disaster recovery & endpoint protection solutions. • Ability to work independently & collab in a fast env. Qualifications: • AWS/Azure certifications are a plus. • Knowledge of ITIL practices. • Familiarity with endpoint management tools (e.g., SCCM, Intune, JAMF). • Scripting and automation experience (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python). • Participation in on-call rotation. • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field—or equivalent experience. • CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security +. • 5-7 years of experience in System Administration in a mixed (Windows/Mac) environment. • Participation in after hours on-call rotation. Salary 50/hr The pay range is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
