The Business Systems Administrator/Developer at Utah Transit Authority supports and enhances the ERP system and its integrations across multiple departments. This part-time role involves project management, system design, and application development using Microsoft Power Platform.
Job Summary Provides information systems planning and support of Utah Transit Authority (UTA)s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (JD Edwards) and systems/interfaces with the ERP system (e.g., WorkDay, SharePoint Online, Laserfiche, Trapeze EAM) for multiple UTA departments. Develops project plans and implements ERP and related system design changes, major ERP Integration Software, and upgrades to improve quality, usefulness, and efficiency. Performs project management activities associated with design and implementation of these systems and associated technologies. Works with peers within information technology (I.T.) to support development, implementation, maintenance, and integrity of data and processes within the ERP and other major systems. Manages systems in support of company and department objectives and other information needs, such as maintaining systems software and workflows, recommending and auditing application security, authorizing access and access flows, and writing standard/custom reports. Develops using Microsoft Power Platform to design, develop and implement applications. Assists JDE Developers in data quality reviews and provides recommendations as needed. Maintains confidential information in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations. Assists in designing/testing interfaces between systems as needed.
