To support our growing Microsoft Dynamics Practice, XTIVIA is looking for a passionate Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central (BC) Developer who can step into a fast-paced environment and contribute to multiple client projects. This position is a critical part of XTIVIA's growth. As XTIVIA’s Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central Developer, you will: • Interface with consultants and client teams to design solutions • Conduct JAD sessions with the customer and the consultant • Conduct training classes for clients wanting to learn how to develop in AL • Provide development estimates for change orders • Code, debug, test, deploy, and manage versioning of each customer's changes • Familiarize yourself with the GovCon IP and the related business processes. This is critical to design a solution • Assist in maintaining and enhancing the GovCon IP Requirements: What you bring to your new team Qualified candidates for this position must have at least two years of development experience and be willing and able to learn how to develop in Dynamics NAV or Dynamics 365 Business Central. As the ideal candidate, you will have strong communication skills and the ability to travel to client locations to assist with requirements gathering. You should be comfortable working independently on multiple projects at once, while regularly updating your project manager and collaborating with colleagues as needed. Additionally, your expertise includes the ability to take abstract requirements from staff (typically accountants) and design a solution that fits within the larger Business Central and GovCon framework and accounting principles. As the best-matched candidate, you will have the following required skills: • Bachelor's or associate's degree in Computer Science • Minimum 2 years of experience in development in Dynamics NAV or Dynamics 365 Business Central and JavaScript, Python, or C# programming experience • Experience in Web Development and REST or GraphQL APIs • Experience writing relational database queries; SQL Server knowledge is a plus • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to clearly communicate and share solutions with fellow team members • Aptitude and desire to learn and apply new technical concepts How you add even MORE value • Preferred experience with BI reporting in general and Power BI in particular • Experience developing in VS Code and working with Git (source code management) is desirable • Familiarity with Dynamics NAV or Business Central, especially the Jobs, Inventory, General Ledger, and Manufacturing modules • Understanding of business process flows in Business Central • Working knowledge of accounting and related business processes Please Note: At this time, XTIVIA cannot transfer nor sponsor a work visa for this position. This position has an expected salary range of $115,000 - $125,000 You will also be eligible for the XTIVIA employee bonus plan.
