Knowledge Solutions Engineer 💰 Salary: $90,000 - 120,000 per year At Morgan Lewis we are looking for a DevOps engineer! 🛠️ Our tech stack: AI, AWS, Azure, Backend, Bash, CI/CD, Cloud, DevOps, Docker, FastAPI, Figma, Flask, Frontend, GitHub, Grafana, Support, JMeter, Kubernetes, Load Balancing, PowerShell, Prometheus, Python, React, Security, Serverless, SharePoint, Terraform, Web, microservices, UX UI Design 📝 Rquirements: We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from an accredited four-year institution and at least 5 years of practical experience utilizing Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and other DevOps tools and methodologies, especially Azure DevOps (build, release, pipelines, repos, artifacts). A good familiarity with deploying microservices and front-end applications based on ReactJS in the Azure environment is preferred. We expect excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong scripting abilities in Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages for automation tasks, and a solid understanding of networking, load balancing, and cloud security principles. Experience with Kubernetes (particularly AKS) and monitoring/logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus, or Application Insights is essential. Familiarity with GenAI MLOps practices (like model versioning and fine-tuning workflows) along with performance/load testing tools (like JMeter or k6) would be a plus. We also value project management and problem-solving skills, as well as a proven track record of deploying and managing services in Microsoft Azure, including App Services, Container Apps, AKS, and other critical components. Furthermore, experience with Docker, especially in containerizing applications and managing container lifecycles, is required. This role will also benefit from experience in deploying and supporting Generative AI applications (e.g., LLMs, RAG pipelines) in a cloud setting and familiarity with GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or other CI/CD tools. Knowledge of serverless architecture in Azure (such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps) and familiarity with secrets management solutions like Azure Key Vault, HashiCorp Vault, or AWS Secrets Manager is advantageous. 👩‍💻👨‍💻 Your responsibilities are: As part of our team, you will be responsible for designing and managing infrastructure utilizing Terraform and best practices for Infrastructure as Code (IaC). You will build and enhance CI/CD pipelines through Azure DevOps for both front-end and back-end services. Your role will involve deploying and maintaining microservices, front-end applications (including ReactJS), and Generative AI services on Azure Cloud. It will be crucial for you to ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of our cloud environments and deployed applications. Additionally, you will monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize our infrastructure and containerized services, utilizing Docker. You will manage logging, alerting, and observability systems for our deployed applications and APIs. Collaborating closely with engineering teams, you will work on automating testing, release management, and environment provisioning. It's essential that you ensure best practices for security and compliance are upheld in our cloud and deployment workflows. You will also develop SPFx (SharePoint Framework) web parts using React, PnP, and Fluent UI libraries, integrating applications and processes with Azure App Insights while creating visual workbooks to monitor trends. Troubleshooting build and deployment issues and ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices for security and reliability will also be part of your duties. Moreover, you'll need to uphold code quality and security standards within Azure Repos, translating design mockups from Figma into optimized code that is compatible with our existing codebase.
