Cloud Architect job at Brooksource. Houston, TX. Azure Solutions Architect Fully Onsite (Houston, TX, 77032) Full-time long-term contract $90.00 – 110.00/hour (D.O.E.) One of the largest oil & gas services companies worldwide is seeking a Solutions Architect to support design and implementation of Azure Data Services to create robust data-driven products and support a critical line of business worldwide. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): • Design and implement Azure Data Services to aggregate, standardize, analyze, and utilize mass quantities of data to create robust data backbone supporting numerous teams. • Design Azure data mesh services, create supporting documentation and POC’s, and mentor DevOps and Software Engineers in development and deployment best practices. • Gather solution requirements, create solution design and roadmap, present to leadership and high-level stakeholders often. • Conduct remote debugging, log creation and analysis, and support the development team through the Agile SDLC. Minimum requirements: • Significant experience designing enterprise Azure Data Services, ideally utilizing the data mesh architecture for enterprise data management. • Extensive enterprise data solution design encompassing large interrelated systems, including data lakes, warehouses, and pipelines, creating data standards and documentation. • Experience and willingness to mentor developers, DevOps professionals, and data engineers in enterprise data best practices. • Strong communication and presentation skills; experience presenting technical info to leadership.
