We are currently seeking a Storage Services Senior Specialist to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia (US-GA), United States (US). Storage Administrator Position Summary: Responsibilities will include developing skill depth in storage technologies, fulfilling storage requests, performing storage configuration tasks, troubleshooting complex problems, applying upgrades and fixes, and evaluating new technologies and products in the enterprise storage arena. Primarily responsible for storage migrations of file and block level storage. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Experience in SAN and NAS administration, or other IT infrastructure administrative disciplines. • 5 years of experience with EMC Replication technology including EMC Replication Manager and AppSync • Experience migrating block and file storage from legacy EMC and NetApp technology • Current experience with EMC storage systems including VMAX, VNX and Unity • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. • Strong work ethic and customer service orientation • Ability to work as part of team and independently. • Able to effectively manage time and prioritize projects in order to meet established deadlines. • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers, clients, and other external contacts. • Strong computer skills including basic understanding of networking, hardware, system administration, operating systems, desktop applications and Windows file management system. • Demonstrate proficient use of a personal computer including Microsoft Office applications. Able to learn company specific applications. • Hands-on experience in SAN administration using EMC storage, including VNX, VMAX and Unity • Experience in NAS administration using NetApp filers. • Proven Experience with storage utilities like Unisphere, ERM, AppSynch, OnTap, OnCommand, Etc Requirements Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Technology preferred • Technical Architecture-Storage-SAN, NAS, Replication, Remote Replication, Virtualization, High Availability: 5+ years exp. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Technology • US local Resident Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Must have strong communication skills, written and verbal • Experience interviewing end users to gather requirements • Knowledge of the SDLC • Ability to demonstrate professionalism in all internal and external interactions • Ability to analyze situations and challenges in a systematic, logical approach • Ability to analyze data points extracted by automated and manual discovery processes About NTT DATA NTT DATA is a $30 billion trusted global innovator of business and technology services.
