We are seeking an experienced and strategic Network Systems Administrator to oversee our server and network operations, security, help desk support, and disaster recovery planning. This leadership role is critical in maintaining the performance, integrity, and security of our IT environment while coaching and developing a high-performing support team. You’ll play a key role in recommending and implementing infrastructure upgrades and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Essential Functions: • Provide support and maintenance for all hardware devices including servers, computers, switches, copiers and printers. • Provide support and maintenance for all software applications to include purchasing new software and updating existing software to current supported levels. • Monitor and maintain the integrity and security of all operating systems, networks and peripheral equipment. Initiates contact and works directly with programmers and/or vendors to rectify integrity issues. • Participates in the annual disaster recovery test plan utilizing Datto appliance and IBM virtual backups. • Execute and monitor all systems’ event logs and take corrective actions when necessary. • Provide continuous first-line support and direction to help desk staff. • Mentor and coach team members with their career development in regard to: technical job knowledge, unit policy and procedure, performance management, unit process improvement and operational strategic goals. • Monitor and approve time off and timecards for subordinates, compliant with organization policy. • Manages employee relations within unit/department. • May assist other units in the department as needed. Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Regular office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. This position requires face to face and in-person interaction and requires the incumbent to be in the office during regular office hours to access information kept on-site. Travel Infrequent travel required for this position, less than 5%. Travel may be outside local area and overnight. Required Education and Experience • College or University Degree in related area • 5+ years related experience • 1+ year of direct management or supervisory experience • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Preferred Education and Experience • Master’s Degree or Higher (e.g., JD, MBA, CPA, Ph D) • Experience with technologies such as: Dialpad VoIP, Hyper-V, VMware, SQL Management Studio, Active Directory • IT Professional Certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, etc.) are highly desirable. • Bilingual (English/Spanish) • LOMA Level 1 Certification (281 & 291), Company sponsored certification required as part of initial training plan upon hire.
