DevOps Architect with CI/CD Expertise job at Adaptive Technology Insights. Saint Louis, MO. Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled CI/CD Architect/Expert to lead the design, implementation, and management of continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient, reliable, and scalable software delivery processes across the organization. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines to support automated software development, testing, and deployment. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze deployment requirements and define CI/CD strategies. • Optimize existing CI/CD workflows and ensure scalability, reliability, and security in the software release process. • Implement best practices for source control (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, etc.), versioning, and artifact management. • Automate build, test, and deployment processes using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, CircleCI, or equivalent. • Establish and enforce branching and merging strategies to maintain code quality and minimize conflicts. • Monitor pipelines and deployments to ensure system performance and identify potential bottlenecks or failures. • Manage configuration and infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. • Stay updated on emerging CI/CD technologies and practices to recommend tools and solutions. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). • 9+ years of experience in CI/CD pipeline design, implementation, and management. • Strong knowledge of build tools (Maven, Gradle, etc.), repository management, and version control systems. • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. • Expertise in scripting and programming languages like Python, Bash, or Groovy. • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes). • Strong understanding of DevOps principles, Agile methodologies, and site reliability engineering (SRE) practices. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on automation and efficiency. Nice-to-Have Skills • Experience with advanced monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, etc.). • Knowledge of security practices in DevOps, such as secrets management and vulnerability scanning. • Certification in relevant CI/CD or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS DevOps Engineer, Certified Jenkins Engineer).
