Overview: Advance Gov Partners is seeking a highly experienced and strategic SharePoint Architect to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of SharePoint solutions for a high-impact government project located in Sacramento, CA. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SharePoint environments (2016/2019/Online), Microsoft 365 integrations, and enterprise-level content and collaboration solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Architect and design scalable, secure, and high-performing SharePoint environments tailored to enterprise and/or government client needs. • Provide leadership and guidance on SharePoint solution design, including site architecture, taxonomy, metadata strategy, and governance. • Oversee the migration, customization, and integration of SharePoint sites and components across on-premises and cloud environments. • Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, and development teams to define technical requirements and deliver strategic solutions. • Lead the development and implementation of SharePoint governance plans, security models, and best practices. • Evaluate emerging technologies and tools to enhance SharePoint capabilities and overall user experience. • Provide technical mentorship and architectural direction to development and support teams. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. • 7+ years of progressive experience with SharePoint, including 3+ years in an architect or lead developer role. • Expertise in SharePoint 2016/2019, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft 365 technologies. • Strong knowledge of SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate), and Azure integration. • Experience with information architecture, metadata modeling, and enterprise content management. • Proven ability to deliver enterprise-grade SharePoint solutions from design through implementation. • Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications: • Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Architect, Developer, or equivalent certifications. • Experience working in government, healthcare, or other regulated industries. • Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD processes. Additional Requirements: • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Sacramento, California. • Must be authorized to work in the United States. • Background check may be required depending on project scope.
