Position: Senior Microsoft 365 Engineer (Copilot & Power Platform) Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – 2 days onsite / 3 days remote) Duration: Permanent Role Summary Our client is seeking a Senior Engineer to join the Workplace Technology team. This strategic role focuses on leveraging Microsoft Copilot and Power Platform to automate workflows and drive innovation within a global financial services environment. You will work closely with business, technology, security, and product management teams to identify opportunities for AI-enhanced solutions, lead technical implementations, and ensure successful adoption across the organization. Key Responsibilities • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Microsoft Copilot and Power Platform. • Design and implement intelligent, automated workflows using M365 tools. • Collaborate globally to gather business requirements and deliver tailored solutions. • Lead technical discussions and conduct training sessions for technical and non-technical users. • Perform detailed root cause analyses (RCA) and troubleshoot complex issues. • Develop clear documentation, best practices, and knowledge-sharing resources. • Deliver presentations and product demonstrations to stakeholders. • Provide 24/7 technical support, including availability during nights and weekends as needed. Core Qualifications Microsoft 365 Expertise: • 10+ years of experience with Microsoft technologies, including SharePoint. • 5+ years managing Microsoft 365 enterprise environments. • Expert-level knowledge in Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive. Technical Skills: • Deep experience with SharePoint workflows. • Proficiency with Azure AD and Active Directory Connector technologies. • Comfortable with Microsoft Office suite and desktop OS environments. • Development experience in Python and C# is a strong plus. Problem-Solving & Analysis: • Skilled in performing detailed root cause analysis and troubleshooting. • Familiar with server, workstation, network, and application infrastructures. • Self-motivated and capable of working independently on complex challenges. Interpersonal & Communication: • Strong leadership in driving cross-functional collaboration. Outstanding communication and presentation skills, including the ability to train large groups.
