Front-End Developer (Azure | Cybersecurity | React) Join us to apply for the Front-End Developer (Azure | Cybersecurity | React) role at Skycubed. Job Description About the Role: Skycubed is seeking a skilled and mission-driven Frontend Developer with expertise in React, Type Script, and JavaScript, with experience integrating modern UIs with robust backend systems via RESTful APIs and RPCs. You will be part of a cross-functional team delivering mission-critical software in a secure, cloud-based environment. Job Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain highly responsive and secure user interfaces using React, Type Script, and JavaScript. • Integrate frontend components with APIs (REST, gRPC). • Work within an Azure cloud environment leveraging Azure native services. • Collaborate using Git Hub for version control, code reviews, and branching workflows. • Ensure application scalability, performance, and reliability through testing and monitoring (using Jenkins, Splunk, etc.). • Participate in performance testing and tuning to meet high availability and latency standards. • Follow security and compliance requirements for defense sector applications. Job Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • 3+ years of professional experience in frontend development. • Strong proficiency in React, Type Script, JavaScript (ES6+), and Web Pack. • Experience working with RESTful APIs, gRPC. • Hands-on experience with Azure native services. • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Workflow and Actions) and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates). • Experience with application monitoring and logging (Azure Log Analytics, Splunk, or similar tools). • Proven experience with performance testing tools and strategies. Preferred Skills and Certifications: • Previous experience in the defense, aerospace, or government contracting industry. • Familiarity with secure coding practices and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, DoD STIGs). • Understanding of accessibility (Section 508) and frontend security best practices. • Experience working in Agile or Dev Sec Ops environments. • Experience with Microsoft Power BI. • Security Clearance: Minimum SECRET, preferably Top Secret with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI).
