Job Description Job Description About the Role: Skycubed is seeking a skilled and mission-driven Frontend Developer with expertise in React, TypeScript, and JavaScript, and experience integrating modern UIs with robust backend systems via RESTful APIs and RPCs. You'll be part of a cross-functional team delivering mission-critical software in a secure, cloud-based environment. Job Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain highly responsive and secure user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript • Integrate frontend components with APIs (REST, gRPC) • Work within an Azure cloud environment leveraging Azure native services • Collaborate using GitHub for version control, code reviews, and branching workflows • Ensure application scalability, performance, and reliability through testing and monitoring (using Jenkins, Splunk, etc.) • Participate in performance testing and tuning to meet high availability and latency standards • Follow security and compliance requirements for defense sector applications Job Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • 3+ years of professional experience in frontend development • Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), and WebPack • Experience working with RESTful APIs, gRPC, • Hands-on experience with Azure native services • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Github Workflow and Actions) and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates) • Experience with application monitoring and logging (Azure Log Analytics, Splunk, or similar tools) • Proven experience with performance testing tools and strategies Preferred Skills and Certifications: • Previous experience in the defense, aerospace, or government contracting industry • Familiarity with secure coding practices and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, DoD STIGs) • Understanding of accessibility (Section 508) and frontend security best practices • Experience working in Agile or DevSecOps environments • Experience with Microsoft Power BI • Security Clearance: Minimum SECRET, preferably Top Secret with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Company Description Skycubed is committed to helping customers turn cyber data into capability at scale.
