Job Summary We are seeking an innovative Director of Applications to lead the design and development of state-of-the-art technology models that support our business processes. The ideal candidate will excel in applying key principles such as stability, scalability, and security to create a robust technology landscape. This role requires a comprehensive approach to problem-solving, considering all facets from personnel and processes to technology, both within and beyond the enterprise. As part of this role, you will advocate for industry standards and stay ahead of emerging technologies for potential corporate applications. You will ensure adherence to development standards, methodologies, and governance principles. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities • Set and track key performance metrics, developing goals and strategies aligned with our corporate objectives. • Provide mentorship and leadership to the Application Design, Development, and Support teams. • Collaborate with project teams to devise solutions that guarantee the effectiveness and success of the Health Performance Assessment System. • Lead initiatives to refine Molina's application development practices. • Work in partnership with business and IT teams to deliver effective Medicaid Management Information Systems solutions. • Engage with the EPMO and business stakeholders to prioritize delivery timelines and manage expectations. Job Qualifications Required Education Graduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Required Experience 7-9 years of experience in Application Design, Development, and Management, specifically in the Healthcare Industry. Preferred Experience 10+ years in the Healthcare Industry, including: • Expertise in AI Data Integration. • Experience with critical Member, Enrollment, and Claims applications supporting HEDIS reporting, Risk Adjustment (RA), and Health Plan Reporting. • Proficiency in Azure Databricks. • Strong skills in Python and Spark. • Familiarity with QNXT.
