The Network Administrator II position in Grafenwoehr, Germany supports DRTS ranges on the Warfighter-Training Readiness Solutions Program (W-TRS). ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: Install, maintain, and repair computers and networks. Ensure adequate IT infrastructure is in place and optimized. Maintain expertise in computer systems and network functions. Provide timely technical support and user training. Maintain and repair technological equipment and peripherals. Perform system upgrades and routine maintenance. Document repairs and maintenance activities. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 3-5 years of experience as a Computer Systems Technologist. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Office, and computer operation. Ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt in a high-paced environment. Valid USAREUR drivers license and Post driving privileges. Ability to obtain/maintain a Blue Card, VISA, or Work Permit as required by German law. Flexibility to support various locations and training durations. High School Diploma or GED. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND CAPABILITIES: Technical certifications such as Microsoft MCSA, Cisco CCNA, etc. Experience in IT customer support, preferably in education. Experience with AV equipment. Excellent troubleshooting skills. Strong organization and time management. Proven experience as a computer technician. Knowledge of internet security and data privacy. JOB CONTEXT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work is performed in an office environment, requiring operation of standard office equipment. Must be able to climb stairs, lift up to 35 lbs., and perform movements of wrists, hands, and fingers. Close visual acuity is required for data analysis and reading.
