This role is critical in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our IT infrastructure, supporting end-users, and maintaining system integrity. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise across various hardware, software, and network systems, coupled with exceptional problem-solving and communication skills. As a Senior IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving escalated technical issues, providing hands-on support to users, and contributing to the development and implementation of IT support best practices. You will also play a key role in IT asset management, system maintenance, and the onboarding/offboarding of employees. Key Responsibilities: Providing advanced technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Diagnosing and resolving complex escalated support tickets within defined service level agreements (SLAs). Performing system administration tasks, including user account management, software installation, and configuration. Conducting regular system maintenance, updates, and patch management. Assisting with the setup and configuration of new hardware and software for employees. Developing and maintaining IT documentation, including knowledge base articles and standard operating procedures. Managing IT asset inventory and ensuring accurate record-keeping. Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior IT support staff. Participating in IT projects, such as system upgrades and migrations. Ensuring the security and integrity of IT systems and data. Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to printers, mobile devices, and other peripherals. Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive end-user experience. A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required. A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support or a similar technical role is essential. Proven expertise in troubleshooting Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common business applications is mandatory. Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and experience with network troubleshooting tools is required. Experience with IT ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, ServiceNow) and remote support tools is highly desirable. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are critical. The ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities is necessary. This on-site position is based in **Milwaukee, Wisconsin, US**.
