Skills • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial workflows • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (Business Central preferred) • Hands-on experience with Power BI, Power Automate, and Robotics Process Automation (RPA) • Skills in data modeling, visualization, and integrating multiple data sources • Ability to identify process gaps and propose data-driven solutions • Keen attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial reporting • Strong communication and presentation skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under strict deadlines Responsibilities • Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) • Create data models and reporting structures to highlight financial trends and operational efficiencies • Gather business requirements and design automation solutions using Dynamics 365 and PowerApps • Develop workflows using Power Automate and RPA tools to enhance financial data accuracy • Migrate financial and program data from external systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards • Analyze and document existing workflows, proposing enhancements for efficiency • Conduct gap analyses and simulate proposed changes to optimize performance • Serve as the escalation point for technical issues related to financial reporting • Communicate solution functionality and deployment timelines to stakeholders • Develop user manuals and documentation to support new tools and processes • Compile, analyze, and present data for decision-making • Prepare and deliver presentations for management, adjusting detail for diverse audiences Qualifications • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant role • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics, especially Business Central • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Education Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Accounting, Finance, or Information Technology Education Requirements Credential Category • Bachelor’s degree Experience Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, focusing on performance reporting and process automation Why work in Rockville, MD Rockville, MD, offers a vibrant community with a rich cultural scene, excellent schools, and easy access to Washington D.C.
