Job Title: Systems Administrator (Azure, O365, VMware IT Infrastructure & Team Lead) Location: Atlanta.GA - (Hybrid)We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification Mandatory Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND • Three years of directly related supervisory/management experience OR • Five years of directly related supervisory/management experience OR • One year of experience at the lower level Manager, Information Technology (ITM020) or position equivalent • Advanced administration experience in Microsoft Azure (Azure AD, Cloud Networking, Virtual Machines, Virtual Desktops, Azure Storage, Enterprise Applications, etc.) • Advanced tenant-level administration experience with Office 365 (O365) • Administration experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) • Extensive knowledge and experience with administration of Microsoft Active Directory (Domain Controllers, Group Policy) • Administration experience with VMware infrastructure • Experience ensuring secure configuration of information systems • Experience developing and maintaining PowerShell scripts to automate processes • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking • Ability to identify, recommend updates to, and perform maintenance on existing network, computer systems, and systems architecture • Strong understanding of information security principles • Ability to quickly learn organizational systems and software • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Experience preparing documentation and procedures • Ability to perform physical tasks occasionally (lift/move up to 50 lbs., use hands, walk, climb, kneel, etc.) Preferred Qualifications • Four years of IT management experience • Four years of advanced Microsoft Azure / O365 administration • Four years of advanced Active Directory administration • Four years of VMware administration • Two years of network administration • Two years of IT system design and architecture experience • Three years of experience analyzing business needs and providing technical solutions • Relevant certifications: • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) Responsibilities • Manage a team of IT professionals and systems administrators • Lead the administration of enterprise-level IT infrastructure including Azure, O365, Intune, AD, and VMware • Promote and enforce secure configuration and security practices • Oversee the development and use of automation scripts (PowerShell) • Maintain and enhance the agency's network, systems, and architecture • Foster a culture of security and compliance within the team and agency • Provide clear documentation, procedures, and support materials • Communicate effectively across departments and levels of the organization • Supervise team performance and participate in hiring and performance management • Perform other related duties as assigned Competencies • Communication Proficiency • Leadership • Teamwork • Problem Solving • Technical Capacity Supervisory Responsibility This position manages a team within the IT department and is responsible for performance management and hiring within the team.
