Job Title: Application and SQL Developer Location: Sacramento, CA Duration: 12 Months (Contract) Position Overview "Navitas Partners, LLC" is seeking Application and SQL Developer for an exciting job in Sacramento, CA. Responsibilities • Design, develop, and modify software applications as needed. • Create and enhance relational and multidimensional database structures, data flows, and interfaces. • Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources. • Analyze and optimize data warehouse structures to meet evolving business requirements. • Apply best practices in software development, coding standards, and testing methodologies. • Perform unit testing, debugging, and quality checks before delivery. • Participate in requirements gathering, technical design, documentation, and planning. • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, recommend solutions, and ensure effective system functionality. • Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, diagrams, and flowcharts. • Support functional teams with test scenarios, test plans, and validation activities. • Communicate complex technical information effectively to non-technical audiences. • Foster teamwork and maintain effective working relationships across diverse groups. Mandatory Requirements • 7+ years of experience with Visual Studio and C#. • 7+ years of experience with SQL Server/RDBMS. • Strong proficiency in writing/debugging C# code (examples should be reflected in resume). • Strong proficiency in SQL query development and optimization (examples should be reflected in resume). • Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON. • Minimum 1 year of Electric Utility industry experience. Technical Skills • Microsoft SQL Server expertise and query optimization. • Proficiency with C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core. • Experience with WinForms or WPF. • RESTful APIs, Web Services, JSON, XML. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Cassandra. • MVC, Blazor, HTML, Design Patterns. • Power BI, Python, LINQ, XSLT. • Source control (SVN). • GIS tools (GTECH, ESRI). • AMI (Itron), Multispeak, SQL Server Spatial Functions. • SOAP Web Services, PI, Windows API.
