Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to join their Business Intelligence team. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or current student seeking practical experience in data analysis and reporting. You will work closely with senior analysts and business stakeholders to extract, transform, and visualize data, providing valuable insights that drive informed decision-making. Responsibilities: Assist in the collection, cleaning, and validation of data from various sources. Perform basic data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Create clear and concise reports and dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Support senior analysts in developing ad-hoc queries and reports. Help in the documentation of data sources, methodologies, and report specifications. Collaborate with team members to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions. Contribute to data quality initiatives and ensure data integrity. Learn and apply new analytical techniques and tools. Qualifications: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field. Familiarity with database concepts and SQL. Basic understanding of statistical analysis and data visualization principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, charting). Eagerness to learn and develop technical skills in data analysis and BI tools. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role requires you to be based in or willing to relocate to Dallas, Texas, US , with a primary focus on in-office collaboration.
