The network administrator’s primary responsibility is to be the technical resource and escalation contact for multiple small to medium sized businesses around the Tampa Bay metro area. The goal of this position is to ensure that our client network environments operate within best practice standards from the ground up. Furthermore, the network admin will have monthly scheduled visits with their clients to perform best practice reviews, basic installs and upgrades, escalated onsite support and regular systems maintenance. SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: • Ensure alignment of predictiveIT best practices • Works independently and with the client point of contact(s) managing the technical relationship • Identify and communicate Technology Risks • Reviews client environments to assure predictiveIT Best Practice procedures are being followed. • Develop and contribute to all client documentation/Asset management including Network Diagrams. • Schedule client monthly 4 hour on sites in advance • Weekly attendance required for client onsites • Account and Technical Escalations Point • Perform Mini projects, installations, and regular systems maintenance during monthly onsite visits. • Participate in the weekly on call rotation • Participate in any weekly meetings REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • College Degree or 5+ years of relevant work experience • 5+ years consulting and / or customer management experience in the technology field TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in the following or equivalent: • VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V • Windows Server 2012-2022 • DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Group Policy, IIS, RDS, SQL • Windows Operating System Windows 7-11 • Workstation setups and deployments • Hardware replacements • Enterprise backup software such as Veeam, Unitrends, Backblaze, Wasabi • M365 Administration • Cisco, Meraki, SonicWALL, Watchguard and Ubiquity firewalls • Client VPN, S2S VPN, VLANs • Cisco, Meraki, HP, Ubiquity switching products • Cisco, Meraki and Ubiquity Wireless • SAN – Storage Area Networks (iSCSI & Fiber) Not required but a plus: • Cisco Unified Communication Platform, 3CX, Cisco Webex calling • Automation/PowerShell/Scripting • Current Industry Certifications OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Familiarity with one or more of the following: • Managed IT Services • Hosted / Cloud application • Managed Hosting • Infrastructure Services ADDITIONAL SKILLS : • Experience speaking and presenting to C-level and management staff • Strong analytical skills • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, and presentation skills • Ability to understand detailed processes and make improvements to processes • Easily builds rapport and trust with others • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional departments • Well organized and ability to multi-task Company Description predictiveIT is a leading Managed IT & CyberSecurity Services Provider based in Tampa, FL.
