Title - System Administrator Location - Kansas City, MO Rate - $40 to $55 per hour on W2 with benefits Terms - 6 months on contract with conversion to direct hire Important Note - Prior or past Managed Service Provider (MSP) is preferred This contract-to-hire position requires you to be on-site three days a week and remote for two days. Our Position The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, excellent communication and customer service skills, and experience working with various clients in a fast-paced environment. This role requires working independently, managing multiple priorities, and providing exceptional technical support to our clients. Responsibilities for this role: • Perform system upgrades and migrations, including server, email, and cloud migrations. • Provide technical support to clients, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues. • Manage and maintain client backups, disaster recovery plans, and antivirus solutions. • Manage and monitor client networks, including servers, switches, routers, and firewalls. • Respond to and resolve service tickets in a timely and professional manner. • Escalate complex issues to Level 3 technicians or vendor support as necessary. • Collaborate with Level 1 technicians and other team members to identify and resolve issues. • Communicate with clients regularly to provide updates and ensure client satisfaction. Skills Requirements: • At least 3-5 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in a managed services environment. • Must have strong experience with O365, Group Policy, and Active Directory. • Experience with Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (RDS) preferred or TeamViewer, AnyDesk, Splashtop, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, and Parallels RAS • Strong experience working with Windows operating systems, networking, hardware, and software. • Knowledge of network technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN. • Solid experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V. • Experience with cloud services such as Microsoft 365 and Azure. • Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
