We are seeking a strategic and technically proficient Application Development Manager to lead our global development and integration initiatives. This role is responsible for managing cross-functional teams, driving agile delivery, and overseeing the development of scalable applications using Vue.js, Node.js, and React.js. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in resource management, agile methodologies, and cloud technologies, with proven success in improving sprint velocity and reducing defect rates over time. Day to Day • Lead and manage a globally distributed team of developers across multiple time zones. • Oversee the design, development, and integration of applications using Vue.js, Node.js, and React.js. • Implement and optimize agile delivery practices using Jira or Azure DevOps, focusing on sprint velocity and quality improvement. • Drive the adoption and integration of GitHub Copilot to enhance developer productivity and code quality. • Collaborate with product owners, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure timely and high-quality releases. • Manage development pipelines, CI/CD workflows, and release planning. • Provide technical leadership and mentorship across front-end and back-end development. • Ensure seamless integration with enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow. • Oversee application performance, scalability, and security within Azure cloud environments. • Monitor team performance, identify skill gaps, and support professional development. Essentials • Proven experience managing application development teams, including remote and globally distributed members. • Strong hands-on expertise in Vue.js, Node.js, and React.js. • Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps for agile project management and CI/CD. • Demonstrated success in implementing GitHub Copilot within a development team. • Solid understanding of Azure cloud services, including resource provisioning and monitoring. • Familiarity with ServiceNow platform integration and workflow automation. • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. • Track record of improving sprint velocity and reducing bug incidence over time. Good to Know Desired Primary Work Location: Wayne, PA / Des Moines, IA Applicable Pay Range $128.082,40 - $192.123,60 DLL is considering candidates in numerous locations. The pay estimate displayed represents the typical pay range for candidates hired for this position in the desired primary work location. Pay may be adjusted outside the projected range based on geographical differentiation as well as for any other lawful reason. Additional factors that may be used to determine your actual pay include your specific skills, years of relevant experience you possess, and other work-related qualifications. Many candidates may start in the bottom half of the applicable pay range, especially those with less experience or qualification. This position is subject to the terms of DLL’s compensation plans and policies.
